wiring fun with cut wires
from one new guy to another, welcome to the site, Eric! Still looking for some help with this issue? Perhaps you could tell me where the wires were cut and I can help you trace them from there.

When I get home tonight, I'll take a look. Even though mine's a Chevy, it should be the same.

Re: wiring fun with cut wires
I looked around & found two red wires & a dark brown wire going to my alternator. I was going to take a second look around the bay before saying anything for sure though. The two red wires, one should be larger than the other. I'm sorry I got tied up this weekend, but I'll try to get a picture of anything that I find.

Re: wiring fun with cut wires
the best thing to do that ive found is to turn on the component from the switch and take a test light to the wires and see which ones are hot then turn the switch off and see if those hot wires stop working. tends to work pretty well
