Yeah! Batman black-out looks really mean. You ever thought about blacking out the wheels and tucking the bumpers? It doesn't get much more menacing than that!

Re: Got the hood/bumpers on!!
The bumpers are tucked actually, they're fiberglass, and I pulled the front in 2 1/2 inches, the back 1 3/4 inch. I think it's gonna be gloss black, and at this point I'm debating about whether to do all the trim and the grills gloss black, or leave it all chrome. Bumpers will definetly be body color. As far as the rims go, I have my eye on some 18s that are black with a chrome lip, but I imagine that'll be next year, or two, when I decide to change the stance, drop the front and rear, and do some steering/handling upgrades.

Re: Got the hood/bumpers on!!
Oh, sorry didn't notice. Let me rephrase that a little, I meant are you going to flush them to the body? I say black-out a lot of the trim pieces and leave just a little bit chromed i.e. healight+tailight trim ring, front edge of teeth on grille. From what you've said so far it sounds like you going with a similar style as my car, only I'm going to paint mine white/w black ralley stripes. What wheels are you looking at?jrsixx wrote:The bumpers are tucked actually, they're fiberglass, and I pulled the front in 2 1/2 inches, the back 1 3/4 inch. I like G3NUT's choice as well, fits our cars real nice.jrsixx wrote:What wheels are you looking at?

I'm going for something a little different though. This is my choice, I'm hoping that they fit as nicely in reality as they do in my imagination.

jrsixx, I'm liking the blacked out look & tucked bumpers. Also the quarter windows being filled in really reminds me of the older Cutlass Supremes.

Re: Got the hood/bumpers on!!
I normally don't like the look of big wheels either, but for some strange reason it feels like the 3rd gens are SCREAMING for pro-touring. For a while I thought it was just something that would only look good in my imagination but 383's car just proved to me that my imagination wasn't lying. On the other hand they also look great with fat meats on all fours on ralleys or nascar rims (The real one's, no fakes).74442guy wrote:i never cared for the big wheel look i like the muscle look with tens out back baby lol
