Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
Hey. Sorry that you don’t have a response yet. I just got home from work and I am about to take a nap. I will go take a picture of my ‘76 Laguna tonight and see if I can help you out. Cheers.

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
Hey. Frrst off, I have those little clamps with a bolt on each side. But, I felt all around them and neither one of them are doing anything. They are just there. I have an EXTREMELY good friend that has a’75 Laguna. I will see if I can get him to look into it. He is a world renowned authority on not just Laguna’s, but any G3 related. I mean to tell you, he’s the best! Without further ado, here are some pics.

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
The is the mounting hole where the top front facia bracket bolts to the side front facia bracket. Yours could be broken or just completely missing. This is what the side bracket looks like. This inner side bracket bolts to the front fender and the one hole at the top ties it into the top bracket. Hope this all makes sense.

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
See, I know that guy! I guess mine doesn’t have it because I have the fiberglass nose. Thanks for helping out sir.

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
I was just looking closer at your front facia pic. Yours does not appear to be factory original or it was modified somehow. Could it be that you have a reproduction fiberglass front nose?

Always glad to help out Mr. 600+ HP! Hopefully some of your horsepower rubs off on some of my cars!

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
Well, that answers the question, the car does have a fiberglass front end and there is no reinforcing bracket. Apparently not needed or won't fit with the glass front end.
Thanks to everyone!

I was a little confused by the photo of your car, until I realized you also do not have the steel panel that goes between the nose and radiator support. Mine is still there, but it's not attached to the nose. Maybe I could fabricate a bracket just to fill this hole. Right now, I have to finish my hood swap.

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
Hey. Don’t look to close at my car. I built that from an empty shell and about 8 boxes of parts. Not much on it is period correct. It’s more of a blank canvas. Here is a link to my build thread if you get bored. Cheers.

Re: 75 Laguna Front End Question
No sir! I don't know anyone else local with a car like this to look at, so I'm always interested in pictures of others. I'll take a look at yours.
