75 Hurst?
This just arrived at at a JY in Denver. Can anyone tell if it’s a real Hurst?

Re: 75 Hurst?
Now that is quite interesting. It appears to be a 1975 Hurst Olds but has the 1974 Hurst Olds stripes. The rear glass is the "formal" roof line as opposed to the "fastback" roofline of the 74 model. From what I can tell it has t-tops and the unique sail panels that delete the opera windows. It also has a provision for the hood ornament that was unique to the Hurst Olds of that era. So I think this is the real deal. Wish I lived in Colorado lol.

Also, doesn't appear the swivel buckets and sport steering wheel are intact. If true, I'm sure the console and rally gauges have been removed, too. Still, would have loved to scour that thing of any remaining hard-to-find parts if it had landed in a local JY near me.

Why would someone junk that car? That is way better than what I started with.

Re: 75 Hurst?
A guy found it in the junk yard and wrote about it. Or he is sleuthing on this site for leads....

Yeah...funny how he had the information to tie this to the previous owner's For Sale ad some four yrs ago that I referenced in the above thread.
