1976 Monte Brake Booster

Why is it you can’t find a 1976 Monte Carlo Power Brake Booster anywhere?
I guess it is this way for all 73-77 GM cars?
After feeling confident talking and ordering a booster from Performance Online I received it in and nothing matches up to the firewall, the bolt pattern is not right, the rod that mounts to the brake pedal is too short and the input shaft protrudes past the bracket hitting the firewall. There is not a booster to be had anywhere online?
Is there by chance a retrofit from another vehicle that will work? Anyone else experience this?

My buddy purchased a brake booster on Rockauto awhile ago and it fit perfect. It was a reman from Cardone.

Rock Auto shows to be out but there is a link to send the booster to Cardone and they can rebuild it in about a month, just looking for something a little quicker and not paying freight both ways.

Amazon is showing Out of Stock...as do every other source. I was looking into this a couple months ago, too.

Rockauto is showing a Return and Rebuild option:

You do have one more option. CPP offers a new master cylinder/brake booster combo that I just ordered from OPGI on sale for $200. Its on back order but I should have it this week. They have a listing on Ebay as well. Link is below. Hope this helps.
