Anyone told to stay home from work? I'm hoping I get the call tomorrow. How about the gas? $1.58 in Akron today, of course, I'm sure it will go right back up when car season finally arrives, hopefully it will arrive. Crazy times right now.

Thanks, yes its better to be safe than fighting for a ventilator. Been home for the last three weeks. Only gone out a couple of times to the grocery store although I did go for a drive tonight to get out of the house. Our Cars and Coffee meets have been postponed until late April. Working on home projects now, will get to finishing up the car projects soon.

Yes Please all Be Safe during this Time we have never seen Before for sure, Ev1 just be safe and use caution out there I have been and will be Home for the Duration or at least 9 weeks More due to fracturing my Left Knee YAY for me at least I will be Corona Free right.

Luckily we're in a position where it's optional for us to work from home, so right now the office is half full, but everyone's working. Customers are still calling with problems to solve, so that's good news.

I am letting most of my staff work from home, I am still manning the office along with one employee (my daughter) to take calls and work with the customers that walk in. So far we have been able to handle it that way.

My employees that are working from home are 60 and high risk so they were nervous about coming in. I am 60 and somewhat high risk, but since it is my business I need to suck it up buttercup! My wife is working form home and with her immune system (or lack there of) that is where she needs to be!

Hopefully this passes without too much damage to the population and quickly! As for Russia, was thinking the same thing this morning - still the Cold War Soviet Union!

I drive a UPS delivery truck. Out here in the middle of nowhere, but people are generally abiding by the rules. Some are grumpy about the situation, though. It is weird to work in the small town I deliver to because all the kids are home, but no one is outside.

our state goes into lockdown at 5pm Today 3/21 stores are empty on shelves, limits on everything BUT still empty

I also am a UPS driver, I run an industrial route in a large city, with a lot of health care warehouses. My city is going on lockdown on Tuesday. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. Hope everyone stays safe.

Autoworker from Canada, off work until April 6.
Going to stay home and get some projects done around the house other than a occasional sweep of the grocery stores hoping to find a 4 pack of TP.

I too work at UPS. Fulltime inside the Hub/Carwash. So far nothings really changed there, and I don't think it will unless someone actually gets the virus.

Voluntarily took the layoff Tuesday end of day. Realized that the new normal is :

GRUMPY AND HEALTHY !

My wife is a Respiratory Therapist so she's right in the thick of it. It's quite the process when she comes home.

Change into clean clothes/shoes and bag your clothes at work.
Come home shoes and coat in the garage, strip and bag clothes you put on at the hospital.
Whip down anything you bring into the house with disinfectant.
All clothes and bags into the washer, and washed right away with soap and hot water.
Take a shower, and clean clothes again.

Now you're allowed to touch things.

As a UPS driver, I’m wearing nitrate gloves all day. Don’t know if wearing gloves helps or not but I have noticed that I’m more aware when I start to touch my face. When done peel the gloves off wash hands and head to my car. At my car I Clorox wipe down my hands, cellphone and keys and any touching point on my car. When arriving home strip out of uniform, goes into a special basket, everything dumped into the washer and then I jump in the shower. Now I can go meet the family! This is the new normal.
