I found it, but.....
I found my black over silver ‘73 SS big block stick car.
It’s on a site called Car Domain. Sitting in frt of a white garage. Car has black steel wheels, like it’s missing dog dishes.
Posted under JJP1973, in Atlanta. His name is Jim Proctor.
Have tried message through Car domain, and Instagram. No response
Help from anyone would be appreciated.

Re: I found it, but.....
Several hits, multiple James Proctors in Atlanta area, but nowhere to go from there. JJP1973 does show up on Instagram, and I have requested to follow private posts, using the picture of the car as my profile pic. Hoping curiosity would get him to respond, but nothing for nearly a week. Right now, hoping he has not passed away.

Re: I found it, but.....
Was this car stolen or sold outright?
If sold then I am not sure the current owner would appreciate having his car and info posted on here. If I was the current owner of this car and I saw the captioned ride of the week, I would be pissed.
What is discussed in private is much different from posting on some internet forum.
Thanks -

Re: I found it, but.....
Look,
I’m not trying to stir up any whoa nelly. I sold a car, and want another. I don’t want to find another, until I hear my old car is not available. That’s all. I have a sentimental bond to this car that was not realized until recently. I think you might be making more of this than need be. I’m just looking for help.

Re: I found it, but.....
Ross, glad you found it! Hopefully you can reach him and maybe get it back.
All things considered, the owners name, city, and Instagram handle are not anything that couldn't be found by anyone on the web easily. Everything posted so far here was freely available for anyone to find. It's not like he's posted SS# or VIN numbers, so there's not really any significant danger. If anything, Ross is taking a bigger risk posting his cell number, though mostly for spam calls.

Agreed, I never threatened anyone’s privacy. Just want a shot at getting a car back.

JF74Chevelle......
Have you had any luck trying to contact him ?
I tried to follow him on Instagram, and sent message through Instagram. The follow is still showing “requested”, and message got no response.

You guys are pretty liberal with someone else's information. Let's see, he does NOT own the car, has NOT even made contact with current owner, and has the unsuspecting owner's picture with his car & probably his garage posted on a web forum as the car of week. And the unknown owner's picture has been captioned with hopes that someone else will own it. And you don't see anything wrong with this? Really?

Re: I found it, but.....
G3GM.......
I don’t need this negative crap. I did not post ANYTHING, that the owner of my old car, hadn’t already posted.
What I did post, was a picture of a car I used to have, and a request for help in finding it. Help from a group of current enthusiasts of this vehicle.
Suppose I’m not part of the group, even though I was supposedly accepted. I’ll just back out of it, and you guys can have this site !
