1977 El Camino SS Build Pics
Here are pics of my 1977 El Camino SS I finished building last month. It's now for sale to make room for a frame off restoration for my 75 El Camino SS 454 project. Also at the bottom are links to videos posted on Youtube that shows a little more detail.

Thanks Hawk03! Someone else thought the same and just bought it tonight. Sad to see it go but I really have to get back on my 75 El Camino that I've neglected for the past 8 years. At least the new owner will take great care of this one. I could see the g3 sickness creeping into his veins as he test drove it.

Thanks Chris! The guy who bought it was happier than a puppy with 2 peters. So it went to a fellow car enthusiast for sure. Now its time to do a few things to my 75 Laguna to keep it road worthy and then on to the 75 El Camino this winter for its frame off.

I am going to nominate you for “Builder if the Year “. I can’t wait to ride in the BBC El Camino that you’re building. Cheers.

So you naturally told him to come meet the gang here, right?
Congrats on the sale!

Well I was bored over the summer since I didn't have my buddy's 76 Laguna to work on lol. So I pieced this one together and sold it to make room in my shop. Can't wait to see that 76 big block Laguna on the road!

Yes, for sure. I gave him all the info on this site and told him to become a member asap. I also told him it was a necessity to further the g3 sickness.

Awesome post, I hope you’ll document the 75! I would love to chat! I will eventually do a complete resto on mine. I just picked it up. Looking forward to watching your progress! I certainly have questions! Great job man!

Thanks! I just regret not taking more pictures along the way of the 77. I'll be sure to document the 75 restoration more thoroughly than this one since it's a rare big block vehicle. The engine is in short block mode at the moment but the turbo 400 trans is completed and ready to be installed. Gonna start doing sheet metal work this winter since there is quite a bit of rust to be dealt with.
