Re: Oldsmobile El Camino!
That's some damned impressive work. He must have grafted in part of the cutlass quarter right behind the door as well.

Re: Oldsmobile El Camino!
Very nice! I wonder if its registered as an El Camino or a Cutlass??? That would definitely confuse the insurance companies.

Re: Oldsmobile El Camino!
Has to be registered as an el camino. The ViN tells all and its illegal to swap a vin.

Re: Oldsmobile El Camino!
Yes, grafting in behind the rear quarters ALSO, is worth alone the price he is asking for the car, the front clip and doors are simply a bolt on. I have seen this done before but with a 1985 Cutlass on a 78-87 el Camino. They are all registered as an el Camino, because that is what they are. This one is really done nicely and would like to see it in person, that is just way too cheap, I would think for the originality and customizing alone should be in the neighborhood alone of 10,500 to 12,500. If I were an Oldsmobile guy, I would be calling right now instead of typing this message. Thanks for posing this for all the G3 Guys to see.

Re: Oldsmobile El Camino!
Sorry, I misread the asking price! That is more like it, 30,000 That looks as if it were done right, and extremely difficult to do and do it well, it appears that it is done right and probably worth close to what he is asking. A tremendous a lot of time and money has gone into this- I wish him well, again, apologize for the mistake.

$30,000 seems a little steep. Only g3chevy can afford that. I really like it though.

I know how much work that must have been, its not easy at all. And it looks like it has been done right. Its super cool. I like when someone makes a one off like this.
