I have a 1974 Chevelle wagon. Needs doors baaaad. Good ol Canadian salt. I have a line on a Malibu 4 door. Just wondering if anyone might know if the doors are the same before I make the lengthy drive to go look at em. Thanks all!

Not the proof positive you're looking for but, it's always been my understanding that they are the same. My Hollander Interchange Manual doesn't mention station wagons...so, I can't confirm 100%.

I apreciate the reply. There's another wrecking yard closer to me with a 4 door sedan. The doors are rotted right out but they're $40 each. Might just go grab one to see.

For the sake of others on this site with wagons or 4-drs, were you able to confirm that the doors were interchangeable?

Change the glass and good to go. If you were close to SW Iowa. I have my old set of doors from the SS350 wagon I had.

In the Mitchell crash estimating guide it shows the doors and glass as being the same on wagons and four door sedans

buy the doors and bolt them on. if glass doesn't line up change then.

73-77 wagon rear door windows square glass
73-77 4 door rear door windows curve to follow the roofline.

Sorry for the late UPDATE. Took a bit to be ready.

So, change the glass and bolt em on! It's just that easy!

The glass curves on the 4 door but is flat on the wagon.
