75 Malibu classic in MN
First sorry for pics double posting iPhone isn’t being too friendly with posting anyhow. Brief self background got two degrees one for auto and one for heavy med truck and self taught tinkering before hand, Short lived auto mechanic turned to career diesel mechanic here in mn, wife allowed me to purchase a project n just picked this car up not too long ago as a first project car so far love it may not be prtty and not all the fluids stay in it 100% but that’s part of the whole project concept. Anyhow what I picked up and brought me here is a 75 Malibu classic, two owners ago took the engine and bored it and put an externally balanced 400 crank on for a decent 383 stroker setup with a th350 behind it. Has comp cam mutha thumpr in it 650cfm Holley double pumper, edelbrock air gap intake, aluminum roller rockers, heads I’ve looked up but can’t remember the castings off the top of my head. Still have to dig into the rear end see what I’m dealing with there. Overall fun car to drive how it is but have a lot of improvements to make. Hoping I’ll find plenty of support and help learning this car too to bottom and getting it setup just right between suspension of the car and piecing together the interior and some mechanical inputs / suggestions

Awesome...another Minnesotan sharing the passion for these cars! Where exactly are you located? I'm in Eagan...and there are others around the metro area and outlying areas.

Re: 75 Malibu classic in MN
Parts aren't too hard to find around the area thanks to Mcarlo77 and others sir.
When you get it reliable and able to do some traveling, I and others would love to meet up somewhere. Wallyuph and I aren't afraid to drive ours and this past June took a weekend drive to a show in Dakota Il. that Limey invited us and others to attend.

Re: 75 Malibu classic in MN
Ok nice good to know I can find parts because lookin online this gen is fairly well discarded for parts / restoration but I honestly like them better than previous years that are overplayed. And definitely down to meet up when I trust it or even if you guys make it up to St. Cloud sometime.
