Seat belt bolt options? Empty Seat belt bolt options?

I'm getting ready to put the front seat belts back into my car and am wondering about seat belt bolt options? As we all know, the factory ones have the star heads on them which tend to strip out upon removal. Mine are out but I am wondering if there are options for traditional type hex head bolts that could be used instead of the star type ones?

I don't know the reason GM went with the torx head bolts in '73...except, maybe it was a cost saving move? Up to then, they used hex head bolts and they did the job just fine.
