Laguna nose
So great news. My car has been painted but I am not going to upload any photos until it is finished. But I have a problem, the Laguna nose I have is great but I don't have the top piece that has the hood latch an what not. Does anyone have one of these I just have a bunch of holes in the top on my nose that looks like bolts should be going through. Please help if anyone has the piece or can tell me how to make a home one.

Re: Laguna nose
I'm a little confused with what you are describing. I've not paid close attention to the '73/'74 noses, but my '75 nose does not have any latch hardware bolted to it. Rather, the latch is bolted to the vertical support member that is bolted to the front of the core support. Only connection to that support and the nose is a reinforcing bar.

Re: Laguna nose
Still don't see any connection between the nose on your car and the hood latch. They're all set up the same regardless of a Laguna nose or not.
Perhaps you're talking about the metal plate that would attach to the top edge of the nose allowing it to be secured to the core support? Once you figure it out, there are a couple of Lagunas in a yard I pick parts from that would probably have what you need.

Re: Laguna nose
Yes that is exactly what I need. I am sorry that I couldn't describe what I needed. But that is the piece, the metal plate that attaches to the top which secures it to the core support. Sorry and thank you.

If this is what you need Most are part of the nose assembly I haven't seen one by itself before ... Doesn't mean it doesn't separate from Nose But just never seen it
