Four spoke sports sreering wheel.
It's been WAY too long since I last had a "Vega GT" style steering wheel on any of my cars. I have a question in regards to how the horn button is assembled inside the steering wheel. I have all the parts to do this, I just can't figure out why I can't get the horn to work. Does anyone have any pictures of how the horn button and related parts go together? Should be self explanatory, but I'll be dipped as to ho to do this.
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Four spoke sports sreering wheel.
This may help. Took this photo when I removed the parts from what I think may actually have been a Vega 4-spoke a year ago or so as I'm having trouble with the Laguna's horn not working, as well. That "cup" obviously installs on top of the contact ring A$$'y. to the right of it in the photo. I wanted to confirm the orientation of the metal contact plate that's inside the plastic ring as it is concaved. Also, this setup requires a different contact plate/pin than the std horn pad as shown in second photo.

Re: Four spoke sports sreering wheel.
Thanks Mcarlo77. I was thinking that's how the concaved plate went,, but not real sure. The contact ring I'm trying to use is the "green" one from the original wheel. I guess I'll have to dig around on line to find the "grey" one huh? I knew about the pin and spring, but wasn't aware of the contact plat that goes under the retaining ring in the column. Thanks again.

Not sure what mine came off of as I bought it off of E-bay. I believe you're correct in the fact of the center being all the same size no matter what car it came off of.
