New to the G3GM Forum but not to Colonnades!
Greetings everyone.
I am very happy and thrilled to have found and be a part of this forum. Finally a car community that gets me. I grew up (came of age) in the 70's when all these cars were brand new and classic rock was simply referred to as rock music. I had a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix Sj as my daily driver until I totaled it after returning from a Fraternity beer ball game. I had other cars and watched many a great looking A Body go to someone else but I never lost hope that one day I'd acquire another one. I always wanted another 77 GPSJ but when I saw a very nice 73 GPSJ pop up on Facebook of all places I knew I had to have it. I finally finalized the purchase and the car is now down here with me in Houston. I am just the 3rd owner of a black 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ. The car spent its entire life up in rural Michigan as near as I can tell. According to the Exxon maps I found in the glove box I think its been to Ohio, Baltimore & Washington, D.C. and Ontario Canada as well. My car has a black exterior with a maroon (dark red) interior. It also came with bucket seats & console, non tilt steering wheel with toggle switch for high beams. My GP has no vinyl roof which I view as another plus. It also came with a nice looking set of Rally 2 wheels on her as well. I do plan on getting the car PHS documented in the very near future. I like all Colonnades but I have a special attraction toward Grand Prix's in particular. I've recently discovered what you all already know that the aftermarket does not share the same love or enthusiasm toward our Colonnades as we do. The after market parts selection pretty much grinds to a stop right at 1972 for some strange reason. I'll try and post some pictures if and when I can get around to it. Once again I am thrilled to be a part of this car community. I'll really try not to ask too many questions that I'm sure you are tired of answering.

Welcome! Can't wait to see pics.
And ask as many Q as you want to -- that's kind of what we do around here.
