I am in the process of detailing my engine bay prior to putting the engine back in. My car is unmolested, so all of the original wires, cables, holders etc are still there and just need a good cleaning.
What color would the brake booster have been in 1975? Black, grey, anodized?
I suppose the frame/a-arms/radiator support etc all where kinda semi gloss black.
The engine will be Chevy orange.
Does anyone have pics of their nice untouched all original engine bay?

So for the most parts everything is different shades of matt or semi gloss black ?
What color is the brake booster ?

Orange engine, GM chassis black, gloss black, flat black and booster is cadmium plated.

Thanks, Would you mind explaining which parts have which colors? Or post closeup pictures of the mayor differences

Does the firewall and fender wells have about the same shade of black?
Frame and radiator support same shade?

Firewall and fender wells same chassis black. I believe like wise for rad support and frame. Gloss for air breather, semi for brackets far as I can tell. Will get close up pics for you on the weekend.
