Favorite CL statement of the day!
What the hell, let's start a thread.
1. https://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/4833613852.html
...."66 Mustang. Car runs but hasn't been started in five years" WTF?
2. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/4823959715.html
"Patina" "Found in barn" = mostly rusted in half with some paint showing through, sitting in field for ten years AFTER we got it out of the barn
3. https://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/4826946133.html
"car has very little rust, mostly surface only. I do have replacement rockers and front floor pans ready to put in for what needs to be replaced."
So no rust but you have parts to replace the rusty stuff?
4. https://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/4776908325.html
"RARE!!!" Because everyone else had enough sense to CRUSH it.
5 and 6.
https://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/4774755764.html
https://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/4768923174.html
"Project"= I have some pieces of what used to be cars for you to put together if you give me a lot of money "No motor or tranny. No title, No interior" and/or, "I THINK it's all there"

That Lincoln is actually pretty intriguing. The body and trim appears to be all there, which is always the hard part to source. Does appear to be missing the brake cylinder, though...
I can definitely use the little az600, though -- I cut those into slices and squeeze 'em into my sweet tea.

I agree on the Lincoln. I've seen one or two restored ones over the years and they are cool.

Guess I have to rethink my rebuild... No on the gold interior, and have to call Don Pillsbury to call off mural paint job we had discussed....

I don't know what in the hell you were expecting from him, anyway. He doesn't even have any thumbs.

His pinstriping isn't bad, if you're into that sort of thing.
He's in Hopkinton, MA -- does that put him near you, Paul? Maybe Mali needs a mural!

Mark, his professional work looks great, truck lettering, signs etc. & I agree on the pinstripes. Although, a free-hand artist he's not.
Hopkington isn't that far from me and I have been thinking about themes, hows 'bout this?

1965 Mustang - $35000
I am just testing the waters. I really do not want to sell this car but I just might for the right price. Send me your best offer and you might get lucky.
Yeah, 65 Mustang coupe for $35,000. He really, really really doesn't want to sell that car. I love it when they post it on CL not to sell it, because we would all be so lucky to spend 35k on a 12k car.
2. http://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/4824325802.html
"1965 Mustang. $8000 or trade. No junk i know these cars are getting hard to find and what they are worth It does need floor pans and carpet. Its in very good shape just needs odd and end things."
It's so hard to find one of these rare cars that there are only 12 other 65-66 Mustangs for sale on the Louisville CL right now. And only 4 of them are 6 bangers like this that are in better shape and cheaper. Ford only made about a half million 65 Mustangs, so they're REALLY hard to find

Funny, it sure looks like a 74 from my angle. And he's a hell of a photographer -- did he just point the camera randomly and shoot?

No no no...It's a 75 SS.
It's what you get when you put a 74 Monte in a barn with an 85 Monte SS and go back in a few months.
