I hope that snow is coming to Buffalo area. My son and I just bought new skis and are dying to get out! But till the snow comes I am hibernating in the garage under my '74.

We've got maybe 6" on the ground from repetitive 1/2-1" snowfalls...but, it's been so cold each time it snows, it has no moisture to it and the stuff can literally be swept off the driveway with a broom.

My dog (Fox Terrier) doesn't last more than a minute or two before he gets frozen paws and stops in his tracks. Have to continually run out and retrieve him from the yard. And, no way is it possible to place those paw boots on him as he would go all Terrier on them! Just waiting for the day when he figures it's worth a scolding to just piss/crap on the carpet where it's warm inside!  Turd

Must be cold there.

No snow here yet. Just cold. They were given below zero temps for tonight. Hope it doesn't get that low. My little boy has never made a snowman yet and can't wait. I hope it snows enough to make one with him and take him sledding. Also hope it hits like 70 the next day so I can get out in that 74 and burn some rubber.

As long as there's no ice or snow on the road I take the monte to work . Try and drive it as much as I can but still feel really weird when I don't drive my truck , come to rely on it so much for being very practical

We're about to get a taste of that cold air from the north pole.  One of those big @$$ cold pockets that's getting pushed down on us from our friendly Canadian neighbors. (Thanks a lot, Eh?)

I think by tomorrow I'll have about 16" of snow, last I checked.  It's pretty fluffy though cuz it's cold (not as cold as you guy's out near the lakes yet though)...might bust out the leaf blower for the cars, stairs & walkway.

Now, I just heard on local weather we're in for at least 72 straight hours of below zero temps beginning Sunday night...with two of those days having lows in the -28F range.

That's so cold it hurts just to be alive outside.  I think the coldest it's ever been here (that I can remember) was about -15F one morning years ago.  It gets to zero from time to time & w/ a wind chill it sucks but I don't even wanna think about starting the day off at -28. pale

It is 7F here but it does not feel it. I just came back from skiing with my son and I feel great. Bring on more snow!! Other than the two of us; there were only 4 snowboarders on the slopes. 6 people willing to brave the weather....

It's about 10 degrees here in mid-Michigan, and the predicted low is 1 degree below zero.
Good time to be in Waikiki, listening & playing Hawaiian music, and watching the hula girls.

There does seem to be some gradual changes in the weather in recent years, but aside from the politics, it may be part of a cycle. If it's global warming, it ain't happenin' here !! Very Happy
