I wish I could get back to old Kentucky for a few days, it's been three years. I am just not in any position to take that kind of trip any time soon. Tax man got me down, and it about 1,900 miles one way for me. Sounds like fun though. Since JB is sort of central and can't go anywhere, why not go to Louisville? There are several rod shows there during the year, one REALLY big one in the summer. Just a suggestion. It's not that I don't drive my cars, I just drove the Laguna over 300 miles today, but a long trip is too expensive for me right now.

I know what you mean on that driving Pontichev327. Also I do think that Louisville would be a good option. I am not sure if JB would be up to all of us showing up there, but that sounds good to me. I just wanna take the Chevelle out for a good long drive. I've done about a 200 mile round trip before, but that is as far as mine has been. I look into possible shows and see what I can find out if Louisville sounds good to everyone.

My daughter and 5 year old granddaughter moved in with me and now a clean house is a distant memory. It's a small house, but a good one. Two households of furniture in one house, LOL. JB

no, the summit racing headquarters is in akron. Summit motorsports park is in norwalk, 1.5 hours is probably a pretty accurate guess.

Man there's all kinds of good events in the midlands & south & west. Living in the northeast is LAME when it comes to car related stuff. Besides Nascar in NH, the closest good thing is the Carlise events & that's like 8 hours from us. Head Bang

I never thought where I live as that great (automotive wise) but with in a hour from me I have , summit racing, Thompson drag raceway, lake county speedway ( a wheelin NASCAR scantioned 1/5 mile track, with figure 8:D ) plus I have a 1948 stainless "diner" within walking distance from my house (annabels) world headquarters for wiesco piston is local, as is Lincoln electric (my wife's employer)

I second that. My 12 foot trampline makes a good base for a sleeping bag if anyone needs a place to stay overnight. JB
