Really nice 73 four speed car
There is a really nice (unoriginal) four speed car on ebay right now ! I was outbid at 11000.00 and its got a lot of time left and the reserve hasn't been met. Good to see these cars getting a little respect out there !

Re: Really nice 73 four speed car
That is a nice car all right. I couldn't make my car even close to that nice for 11,000 plus my car isn't a 73, doesn't have a big block, doesn't have a four speed, isn't an SS and has bench seats and rust too.

Re: Really nice 73 four speed car
I'd think that car would be worth twenty easy. If it sells for less than that I'm gonna be super sad that I'm dumping money into a car that will never be worth that and I could easily spend at least fifteen to get where I want to!

Heck a guy could spend fifteen just on a motor trans and rearend a couple nice suspension bits and a decent set of wheels and tires.

I asked the seller to post a couple photos of the underside of the car including the rearend, looks nice on top, but the bottom needs a look.[img][/img]

Re: Really nice 73 four speed car
I really like the car, and Jeff Lilly is a major name, I am just wondering why they would change the interior color on a seldom seen original type restoration like this one. Don't get me wrong, I like modified cars, but a 454 4speed? Put it back the way it was built! Besides, White interior "pops" much better against the blue outside.

I agree !!!! Thats exactly what my car looked like when I bought it in '82, except mine has the off white interior. Which I also think "pops" with that color and its not a common interior color.
Since this car is so clean with only 19k on it, is it me but is the tail SS emblem on crooked??

Re: Really nice 73 four speed car
It sure is nice, I like it! But although its done with the OEM console, its not an original 4spd, right?

Great looking car with big block/ 4 speed combo! I would love to own, but the asking price is way out of my league

Re: Really nice 73 four speed car
He states that it is not a four speed car in the ad. It does have the all important "Y" in the VIN though. Still a nice original looking ride though. Jeff Lilly is world renowned for their work. I suppose that adds a bit to the price anyway, Top names bring top dollar...but the work was done 11 years ago.

It does look nice with those wheels, are the unique factory rally wheels there too?

Re: Really nice 73 four speed car
If anyone can tell me where to get a big block four speed beautiful body work with black interior 73 SS for less than he's asking I'd apply for a loan in less than a second.
