Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
It does look great! I don't recognize that 69 Camaro front spoiler though, where is it from? I like that look and I do have a 69 RS it would look bad arse on.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
It is fabricated from a stock 1969 Camaro replica. I cut and pasted it to look like that and fit the body contours of the Laguna.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
Awesome work! Are you planning anything with the rear bumper? Maybe a roll pan or trim and tuck the original?

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
Ok, I need you to make me one of those rear spoilers. I keep looking at that and I like it more and more.
Got a side shot of it?

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
I'm going to tuck the rear bumper flush on the sides. I took the bumper with the rub strip off and saved it and replaced it with a junkyard find 75 Malibu bumper. I will get rid of the rubber fillers and work it in with an all metal bumper.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
Are those fender vents from a Z28 on the hood?

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
No. They are from a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina Z34. These cars had a DOHC V6 that was a performance engine. The hoods had air extractors to get rid of more heat from this engine.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
That must be pretty efficient at cooling the engine compartment. I really wanted to have louvers stamped in the hood, but apparently that's some what a obsolete process. ( by me at least)

Not in Street Rodder it ain't. They yak on constantly about it, where to get tooling, how to do it, who does it, etc. Louvers in the hood, louvers in the fenders, louvers in the trunk, louvers on the roof, louvers, louvers, louvers. The big issue I think you'll face is the underhood bracing.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
Yeah, I figured the outside skin would have to be removed to louver it. That would probably get expensive fast. I always thought louvering trunk lids, fenders etc is stupid but that's just my opinion.
