Had fun this weekend!
Hot Rod Super Nationals were in my town over this Memorial day weekend so my wife took my truck and my daughter and I took the Malibu. My daughter is 15 and drives on her learners permit and she was so excited to drive to her first car show! We even threw on some big meats for the weekend. Didn't know 295/50R15's fit like a glove, had six adults in it at one point in time and no rubbing anywhere.

Re: Had fun this weekend!
I was needing that four door at our cruise Saturday. Car seats are not easy to get in the back and even harder to get the kids in once their in. It was a job, but we still had fun.
Nice looking ride!

Re: Had fun this weekend!
Thanks guys!
Yep, 15x10's, can't remember the offset.
I finally got my wife talked in to keeping this one. It's 100% original right now minus the wheel set up but I'm going to swap in a 5.3 over the winter. I'm also trying to decide if I should do the body and paint. There is a dent in the left rear quarter and the paint has a bunch of bird poop stains and is also starting to crows foot in places. A good friend of mine owes me a paint job so I was thinking of using it on this.

Thanks! Do you still have the Grand Am in your avatar? I had a 73 in rough shape but I loved that car!

I like the look a lot. Take my advice put a rear main in the new engine BEFORE you put it in. Sorry to Be the sad sack but I just found out the hard way.

Re: Had fun this weekend!
That's good advice, thanks! This will be my third LS swap and will probably end up getting the full treatment on this one. I have an L33 all aluminum 5.3 with a spun bearing that I'll be building for this one. I've also swapped an 87 Suburban and my 47 Chevy pick up, both with the iron block 5.3.

Re: Had fun this weekend!
Yeah onedayjake, I have the 75 Grand Am and a white 73 also. There are pics of both in the photo gallery and my old Green Guna too, if you wanna look! I used to have big ole' N-50-15 Kelly Supercharger tires on the old Laguna, I think thats about a 305 or 315-50-15 in todays size chart. I had to run air shocks back then to keep from rubbing, never again! The 295's are plenty of tire and they look nice without clearance issues too. Nice Job!
