Isn't there some kind of timer relay inline on these? Maybe that's the problem?
By the way, I've got an electric window from a '75 Cutlass Salon if anyone is interested.

So what about wagon front windows? Does it have a 2 door/ElCo style or the 4 door style?

Windshield or door glass? Doors would be saloon doors. If El Camino windshields are different than sedans than I've learned something new today.

Front windshield. I have a 4 door I'm parting out so I need to know whether to save that windshield or one from a 2 door as a spare for my wagon. I'm already saving all the door glass.

That's a good question then, hopefully someone can answer. I've had cars in the past that when I tried using a saloon windshield didn't go too well. A 71' Nova and a 73' Coupe de Ville.

Re: Rear defrost in the window?
Hollander Interchange doesn't break out a separate windshield for wagons. However, they do make reference to wagons for other glass...so, I'd say it's safe to assume you'd need a 4-dr style windshield.

Re: Rear defrost in the window?
The defrost goes in the center of the pkg tray- my car only came w/ 1 rear speaker but there s/b a provision for a second.

Yep...all cars had the center cutout for a blower style rear defrost.

Re: Rear defrost in the window?
Strange, indeed! Every car I've ever seen has the factory cut-out in the center for the blower A$$'y; regardless of whether or not it came with defrost.
