I've only just started driving mine again for work . Had some bad snow and ice for about a month . Good to be cruising again

Re: Official Show Us Your Car ( 73-77 )
I have raked the snow off and busted the ice loose around my doors and have been driving it anyway. Gets a little loose in the snow! Nice out here today though in the 60s

Re: Official Show Us Your Car ( 73-77 )
In regard to winter driving, the G3 El Caminos I've owned ( 4 including the project) have been better in winter than the Chevelles I drove in winter. Must be that the Elco has a bit more weight in the rear. (?)
My Malibu has never seen a Michigan winter or salt, so it should survive for a long time.

Re: Official Show Us Your Car ( 73-77 )
I've covered mine in salt this winter. Cold in that thing with no insulation, carpet or headliner. I even have about a 1/4 inch x 6 inch gap in the weatherstripping above the drivers side window due to my poor installation.
