I like those except for the emblem, I think theyd look cool if the inset part was painted black like magnum 500s

well the ones i have access to very cheep are all black and might go with the scheme i am trying to do for lime green with black accents

I think they would look better with a gloss black rather than flat or satin, or whatever these have on them. And I agree with BlackChevelle about having a black center cap. I think overall they look pretty nice, but hard to really say unless I can see what kind of scheme you are working with on the rest of your car.

I would definitely get rid of the "Hot Wheels" logo in the center. The chrome w/ black looks pretty decent, but I would probably get the black powder coated to bring out the shine.

yea they spray painted them, you might be able to take some steel wool or SOS pad to them and get the paint off. then polish up the aluminum

actually i talked to guy at discount tire to verify that they would indeed fit my car and these were available black like this (in my pic) the owner didnt spray them they are made like that BUT would love it if they were like the photo shop edition you put up.........just have to make sure they will work backspace and all................................9" rim the tire guy said i have to have at least a 5" BS for front and the backs well i could have an airplane tire under there and still fit ( HAHA HA HA)

Not related to Limey's wheels, but....
I figured if I ever made my car into a Laguna clone I would throw on a set of Salt Flat Specials with cast finish centers. I love those things!

All chrome would look kewl, but this does look bad A$$. What about the same as above but add green in the center where the chrome is on this pic? maybe a green or black pinstripe on the inside chrome rim? sos will damage the chrome finish, steel wool is the way to go. so is the black powder coated or just paint? is the black gloss or a flat finish?

if i were you id get the rims but leave them the way they are until you get paint and the rest of the body done. then take a picture and have someone with photoshop do some changes with all these ideas. that way you can see what looks best.

I have 235-55-17s on my 74 and like them, but have been unable to find a good quality wider tire than that. JB
