"SS" Rims for 73 Chevelle

Anyone know the specs on these rims (73 only)? I've only seen them on the "SS". Wondering about diameters, width, etc. I know they're kinda hard to come by but I'm thinking about it down the road for mine. Hoping they were made in 15's. TY.

Ive never seen a 15. But ain't they the same as a late 70s camaro?

I have ONLY seen them in a 14" for the SS

14 x 7 I assume? I've seen a similar wheel for Camaro too...maybe 77-81. I don't think they are exact match but they may work. I missed out on a set of Western Turbines on flea-bay that were excellent w/ fresh tires that went for $300.... Head Bang

Man I wish I kept the set on a 73 SS I parted out back in 87. I was still living at home and had no where to store them. I new I should keep them at the time. I know they were 14's.

Here are the specs:
Code: AV
Size: 14X7 (I believe 4.5" BS)
Found on: 70-72 Camaro, 71-72 Nova, 73 Chevelle SS

Also keep an eye out for these:
Code: DE
Size: 14X6 4 3/8" Backspace
Found on: 71-72 Nova & Chevelle, 6 hole wheels

The wheels are EASY to find, I even have a set. The center caps are HARD to find. They only came on 73 Chevelle SS & Nova SS (not sure of year). BTW, I'd let mine go for cheap.

If you just like the look, you can buy them aftermarket in sizes up to 15x10 from a few places.

I still Have 3 of the SS center caps not in the best shape but they are for 73 SS wheels

You can send me pics if you'd like but to be honest I think on the caps & wheels, I'm going to go for new ones. They cost just as much to have them fixed, blasted & powder coated up here in my neck of the woods & I'm running out of patience with all I have still to do w/ my car before I can even get it on the road. Friggin list is huge.

I have a set of those wheels on my trailer. They came on tons of GM cars through like '82. The set I have came from a '79 El Camino. They had stainless inserts in the kidney shaped holes on the later version wheels.

I like the way they look on the Malibu's. Different then the 5 vent Rally's and the smaller centers are nice. This prob won't happen for a while but it's good to know the info. I talked to the guy @ original muscle wheel. Very knowledgeable fellow and $85.00 for a 15x8 seems good for brand new. They have those inserts too. They remind me of my old Cutlass' wheels but I think they were 14 x 7's. I never see those rims on anything up my way even at the shows. Gotta confirm the back spacing on the ones I have as I like the way they sit on the car.

at super Chevy Show there was a whole set of the 73 SS rims with centers beauty rings and good tires. i bought 3 tail lights from the guy. he told me he made a derby car out of a 73 SS

My '74 Malibu had wheels similar to that pic, but had plastic center caps, which were impossible to find when one got lost. They have the same type holes in the wheels, with stainless trim around the holes. Don't have a clue what they came from. Car came from Georgia in 1990 when I bought it. I still have 3 of those wheels, 14"...
Hard to believe I've had it for almost 22 years !
I have new rally copies, 7 X 15 from Wheel Vintiques on it now.

The Camaro wheels are probably 14" x 7" but I'll call the guy...Caps are definitely worth the $20.00.
