Thought I would share some pics of my old cars. Wish I still had the blue Monte the Malibu was a beast not sure how many sets of rear tires that thing destroyed it had a posi and was a blast to drive. The maroon 75 met a terible end when a lady ran a red light I had a pass side nos quarter and fender to fix it but she hit me on the driver side it tore the diff out of the car on impact.

How much did you cut the front springs on the blue Monte to get it to sit like that? Nice cars by the way.

I didnt cut them the guy before me heated them yes heated them. When I first got the car the crossmember was about four inches off the ground. I had enough one night when I hit a manhole cover by that time it was two inches off the ground. I put another set of used ones back in with I belive one coil cut out and brought it close to the four inch mark. After I took that picture at my parents house the had a burnt spot in the grass lol. Never ever heat springs up.

The more I think about it it may have been one and a half coils this was all back in 1995 so its been a while. The ride wasnt to bad with the heated coils it bounced alot it was like riding in a car with hydraulics.
