Welcome Jerry, It does MY heart good to know that at least some Army helicopter pilots get to retire and enjoy their cars instead of risking their necks everyday. You'll have to tell us some stories sometime.
Thanks for your service! and let's see those pix!

Welcome aboard Jerry! Good to see another Okie. If we keep going we'll have to have a cruise night for G3s somewhere in OK.

Re: ~~Introduce Yourself~~
I think I have been around long enough (here and on CT) for you all to know me. But if you don't, here's my story.
My G3 GM life started in July 2006 when I got a 1974 Chevelle Malibu (AKA Sue). She was blue with a full black top, black interior, Rally wheels and a 350 2-bbl. The first winter I had it, my dad and I restored the engine and engine compartment. The engine was professionally rebuilt, and reassembled to 100% stock specs. Sadly, after having the car 2 days shy of one year, it was stolen out of my driveway. Skip forward a week or so. We take a ride to my grandma's place about an hour and 15 minutes away to look at a 1974 Monte Carlo with 60,000 miles on it. We settled on a price with the dealer, and picked up it a few days later. Here's a bit about my MC. I'm the 3rd owner(the first 2 owner's were mother, then daughter). As of now, it has 66,000 original miles, full documentation, all numbers matching, original unrestored. Even the pain is original. Check the CarDomain link in my Sig for more!

Re: ~~Introduce Yourself~~
I put the link to my cardomain site in my sig, but its not showing up.
What I have is a 1976 Laguna, built in Arlington TX, sold new in Liberal KS to an older female. When the original owner passed away, it was sold to a good friend of hers-another female. When she passed away, her daughter inherited it.
She moved to Dallas for a few years and during her stay there had the car repainted and reupholstered to a completely different color combo. The repaint/upholstery took place in 1994.
I saw it for sale in 2008 and immediately made plans to buy it because it is rust free and the car was 90% of what my wife and I wanted to end up with in our 73 chevelle.
Here is a link to my cardomain page since it isn't showing in my sig

Welcome James! Don't worry, I have my 73 in Kansas & plan to move there soon enough, so you're not alone.
To have your sig show up, make sure it's checked off before you hit send in the options panel.

LOL! Technically it is my wife's car and she hates the slopenose, soooo guess what is going to happen? Don't worry, I'm keeping the nosepiece either for originality or for another car.

Not anytime soon. I wouldn't mind finding an el camino to put the slopenose on. Hard to find any without major rust issues.

Re: ~~Introduce Yourself~~
I see them all the time. Thing is, if I get another car it will be a colonade. I would like to sell my 78 Elky and my 73 LTD to make room for a colonade. That way I could paint the Elky and the colonade simularly to make a matched pair. I really made a big mistake letting that lime green one over in southern Indiana get away. It was NICE.
