Re: The Spotted Thread
How sweeeeet it that. Thanks for the spotted report. We were off the main drag this year did not get much foot traffic.

Here's the page- there's quite a few really nice "G3's" that showed up as well as many other drool worthy cars.

I can tell you first hand Wally's car was looking absolutely awesome at the show! Very nice example of what Car Craft is all about. Your work is amazing!

Wally, I didn't recognize her - she's even better looking than the last picture I saw. She just gets better and better looking

They are like fine wine they get better with age.

Re: The Spotted Thread
not the greatest picture, but while watching "drake & josh" with my daughter this morning they were driving a '76 elcamino with swivel buckets. It burned up at the end

Re: The Spotted Thread
Movie / TV magic is always mysterious.
You know that Challenger at the end of Vanishing Point that gets smashed and burned. I hear it was actually a Camaro. So odds are good the ElCamino was unharmed.

Re: The Spotted Thread
It was pretty obvious some sort of gas burning.

Just came across this one on line. Love it!

Re: The Spotted Thread
I like it. IMHO the stripes look out of place on a blacked out car though.

Re: The Spotted Thread
I disagree -- I think they make the car stand out more. I love it.

What size wheels and tires do you think those are?

I would guess 20".driveit wrote:What size wheels and tires do you think those are?

Re: The Spotted Thread
Nice car! Needs an accent color pin stripe between the white & black a-la Foose IMHO.
Killer stance though, "old school meets 2014".

Re: The Spotted Thread
That's what I am thinking too. Local striper (one p there guys!) does outline or two tone stripe divisions for 100$ I thought it would have been more, but still seems high to me for two little stripes.

I have to agree the stripes look killer on it.

Re: The Spotted Thread
Candy red stripes would have been better choice if you ask me but nice car.

Re: The Spotted Thread
It looks very sharp. I was thinking silver stripes, and a pin stripe around them, they actually look a little unfinished, but that's just my $0.02 worth.

You are correct. Nothing says "I care" more than the little details.

Re: The Spotted Thread
Idk, I still think that car (being all blacked out) would look better w/o the stripes.

Re: The Spotted Thread
It's all personal preference. It's like vinyl tops, and 20 plus inch wheels.
What about the flat black reflective stripes like on the cop cars? You only see those from certain angles.

This isn't the best shot, the black on black is much cooler.
