Re: The Spotted Thread
There was car show at the former Euclid beach park amusement park in Cleveland today. It was supposed to be '69 and older (cuz that's the year the park closed) but no one was enforcing that rule.
A nice Christine clone
Not really my style, but a nice '71 Monte Carlo.

Re: The Spotted Thread
My first cruse any where this year in the 73 and the only drive-in still open around by us. I have 400 miles on the set up so far in that last week. Its so much fun to drive.
Was a nice hour drive with my brother and his 58 Pontiac. Food was great too.

Thanks it will be tough having at Exhaust shop for a few days this week. The place is pricy but they will let me try different mufflers and then install what I want. Not many places will let you do that. It was there idea not mine. Other wise if its not raining I'm driving it.

For the price he gave me they should. I saw a 70's pick up with twin turbos on it with cut outs they had on the rack. The works was very impressive.

Re: The Spotted Thread
I want cutouts on mine at some point. Always wanted some either electronic or rig it up to be cable operated. I am sure it would be hard to keep it from leaking though.

Re: The Spotted Thread
DON"T get the cable operated ones. They leak like crazy. I even fixed mine up to try to make it leak less and still rattled. Save your $ and get a pair of doug's. I have Race ready performance one's on mine, but Doug's weren't available at the time or I would have got those.driveit wrote:I want cutouts on mine at some point. Is that a car with too few wheels or a motorcycle with too many?

84 Highway mpg and 49 City mpg. Classified as a motorcycle, but don't have to have a motorcycle license. Has three wheels. 8 gallon tank thank gets nearly 700 miles on a tank. Oh and the car is only 6800$ Only seats two front to back like a bike, but most of the time how many people ride to work with you anyway. The updated the production start for September of 2015. I am keeping my eye on them.

Re: The Spotted Thread
Movies like that creep me out. I watched one when I was younger that I hated. I think it was called pulse. Some kind of electrical demon or something controlling anything powered by electricity and just killing people. Not my kind of movie. Movies with bad things happening need to include a superhero as well in my book. Im a nerd I know... Nice looking elco from the pic.

Re: The Spotted Thread
The 80's monochrome look will probably limit a lot of buyers. The chrome wheels & pipes look out of place IMHO.

Re: The Spotted Thread
Spotted this little cream-puff on the mid-sized bow-ties site (2014 Car Craft Summer Nationals).
Here's the page- there's quite a few really nice "G3's" that showed up as well as many other drool worthy cars.
