Don't know about plastic, but the glass ones are still available. Try Rockauto.com

Re: PLASTIC HEADLIGHTS: Looking for 77' quads
No problem! Just weighed a spare glass bulb @ 17 ozs. Think your weight savings with plastic will be rather modest...but, guess every little bit helps!

Re: PLASTIC HEADLIGHTS: Looking for 77' quads
You may have discovered this already, but the correct part number for the plastic housings is HP4651 and HP4652...the "P" disignating the plastic version. Quick search of the internet shows they are still out there.

Re: PLASTIC HEADLIGHTS: Looking for 77' quads
here's Hp4651, only 2 in stock. Made by Wagner
so is the whole housing made of plastic, including the lens?

Re: PLASTIC HEADLIGHTS: Looking for 77' quads
Yep...the entire headlight is plastic! Found a couple of plastic high beams on some '80's Fords, but the lenses looked a little hazy...especially, next to the glass low beam replacements that had been made at some time.

Good idea...
Noted for any future 'vintage' race car...
Let's see some pictures of the car on this severe diet.
Thanks -

Re: PLASTIC HEADLIGHTS: Looking for 77' quads
I'm all into weight saving, my current trunk lid I'm "body working"
Very insignificant weight savings, but I'm digging the look.
