How much did powdercoating cost you on that frame? Also, about how much would you say the body weighs without front fenders? I'm trying to figure out if I want to bother pulling it off to get to the frame and what kind of set up I'll need to get the frame out from underneath if I do.

wow this is weird he did the same exact thing i did to my malibu, cept i just painted my frame instead of powdercoating which i should have done
and when i took the windsheild out it looked like this too

I've seen the car in person. You could definitely tell a lot of work went into it. Of course these guys can turn just about any car around in no time it seems.

yeh but how do you smooth it out? did you just keep welding in the holes and grind it til its smooth? i dont want to use bondo or anything that will F#$^ it up lol

but one more question you know the piece of metal between the rear window glass and the trunk lid? mine is all rusted to hell because of the landau top any ideas on fixing that? or just more sheet metal?
