Found an article on the net
It's always interesting to see what the uninformed have to think of our rides. Here's one on the Lagunas.....

The Laguna in the pic has a nice front, but the one for sale near me has the slanted type front, which I don't care for. Different year? Anyway, a Torino isn't even in the same league as a Laguna.

I only knew what a Torino was because of Starsky & Hutch.
Don't remember the characters at all, for me, it was all about the striped undercover car sneaking up on the bad guys and then (surprise!) having to chase them when they are seen.

Pila, the flat nosed Lagunas were 73/74 models & the slant nosed were 75/76.
I never really cared for Those model Torinos until I saw the movie.... Torino. Starsky & Hutch's car was awesome, but it's been done to death. You don't see all Laguna guys running around in NASCAR clones, but I bet you could find at least 500 S&H cars. Same goes for Dukes of Hazzard & 69 Chargers.

One of the guys who starred on Starsky & Hutch said he HATED that Torino. As for being a good car, definately were good cars, but I would much rather have a Laguna. JB

I like this comment the best:
"I've seen GM cars run poorly for longer than many other cars run."
