Re: trans cossmenmber
I have noticed that everyone paints their chassis and parts thereof a black color of varying gloss degree. I am considering painting mine silver. I do not mean a hit you in your face silver, but just a plain silver close tio the color of aluminum. What are youse guys opinion of this? JB

Re: trans cossmenmber
its all your own opinion, I was thinking the same and i did parts in blue, and WILL be redoing them in black for sure it looks horrible. I did some in silver that look ok, like around the rectangle lamps in the front bumper and on the weights on the driveshaft it looks really good. only way to know is to try it out on your own and then you can change it later if you dont like it. and i also agree if you do this get a alum. color not high gloss silver and most deff. not the cheap spray paint chrome it runs way too much.

Thats not Hydro's. It is a 66 Biscayne. I need a brace in front of the back wheels like that. JBcoreys73chevelle wrote:looks good, what size tires are those hydro? looks like youll be tubbing?

Check out this Nova from the Lateral-G site. The silver doesn't look too bad. IMHO

Re: trans cossmenmber
You know, the more I look at it I think it is bare steel. The rectangular tubes on the left side have their welds showing. It still gives an idea what silver would look like.
P.S. I copied the pic to my desktop so I could zoom in, it is bare steel.
