TBI350 Empty TBI350

on a obd-1 model 350 TBI motor with 3 belt serpintine system cant you just cut the belt from the crank to the smog pump "air pump" and leave everything attatched? wouldnt mess with anything right? if i remove all the lines then i need plugs for the throttle body and exhaust manifold.
