Nice car! Very clean looking. Personally I think the wheels are too big, but its not my car. Big wheels like that really hurt your performance. JB

I like it! Thumbs up Yeah you're gonna get the wheel comments, but I don't think they are bad to be honest. If you drop the car they would look good for sure! That red looks real clean BTW.

No offense but the wheels not my first choice but the body and color(holy Sh#@!!!) I like. Nice car you should be proud. Again no offense to the wheels I'm just old and still like the 15's.

The 73 looks amazing! The wheels do look a little too big, but still a very nice style of wheel. I also agree though that if you lowered it a couple of inch's the wheels wouldn't look so out of place and it would all blend together real nicely!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I can appreciate everyones opinion. The color is Sunburst Orange. I guess the pix makes it look red. You can't really see it but it also has a silver flake in it. I think it's a good combo.

I agree with dropping the ride height (the avatar stance was a 2 inch drop) but as you can imagine the 22's rubbed on turns. I am thinking of going down to 20's in the front which will give me good clearance.

My focus at the moment is adding HP and putting it to the ground!!! ie 74Malibu383 GoFast

I have come to an earth shattering conclusion. Usually the more chrome on a car the more I like it, but these 73/77 Chevelles like Denard's and Byran's with little chrome on the sides really set them off. I only like red on certian cars and these really look good red. The black ones and silver ones look good that way too. JB

IMO...They have great body lines, which is why they look good with less chrome. I am planning to replace the chrome trim around all the windows with black trim. There will be no chrome on the sides except the rims, door handles and locks. Looking down the side of the car, I believe it's a styling work of art. The simplicity of the lines is something to take notice of. Sometimes less really is better.

agreed, the lines on these cars are what makes them great, with some nice glossy paint, less is more when it comes to chrome, i have all the trim off of my 74
