I need some help
I have been going through some boxes of stuff and I found some bucket inner seat belts.I know that they are not 73's but I cant remember what year. Please help a homie out.
Also my 73 has these between the outer seat belt and the seat leg.Does 74-77 a-bodies also have these?

Re: I need some help
The top ones look to be 75-77. I know my grandpa's 77 Trans Am has them.
The bottom ones look to be for all years...just plain ol' Deluxe Buckles. Got 'em on my 74.

I honestly don't know. I don't pay much attention to seat belts.

Re: I need some help
my 75 has the black. I haven't a clue what those teim pieces are for.
My 74 had the silver.
Does anybody know if I have to change the male ends on my belts when I switch to buckets, or just the buckle ends?

you are going to have to get bucket seat retractors (male part).
you can use the bench seat bels BUT the bench bolts to the top of the retractor and the buckets bolt to the floor. The bench seat retractor will be visable and you will see the stud where the bench seat bolted to.
here is a pic of the 73 style (they do not have the shoulder belt attached like 74-77 do)

Those seatbelts for the bucket seats are worthless. You should definitely give them to me for proper disposal.

$%^&!!!
I've been looking at aftermarket belts for months and checking online auctions and stuff for used belts and retractors, fargin ridiculous.
the aftermarket stuff looks good, but apparently requires modifying everything because the retractors are taller, and the auction stuff is outrageous because these guys are selling to restorers who pay top dollar for "correct" belts, even if the darn things are broken.
I plan on going aftermarket 3 pointers in the back because my girls will be back there, and I ain't takin' any chances. So, I'll have to drill holes and mount brackets and retractors back there. I was hoping I could just switch buckle ends up front, but I'll be drilling and mounting up there too. $%^*&&!
