73 malibu with 74 front
im beginning to like the 74 fronts a lot and with the stance and color im going to have im thinking a 74 front end (chrome bumper) would look really good with a 4" cowl hood on my 2dr 73 malibu. any thoughts? for your reference the car will be black pearl with dark blue mica flake, deep tinted windows, fat tires, 2" drop spindles, and nice chrome wheels for the street 17s front 18s rear

I do not recommend complete fiberglass front ends for the street, but there have been plenty of them running around. JB

I was thinking about the 74 bumper as well its a cleaner look doesnt look as much like a truck bumper.

Re: 73 malibu with 74 front
I was talking with my boss today, we agreed we will cut the front bumper so and reweld it so it isnt so wide and fits the body snugly also making custom brackets to bring it in closer like dan did on his green 73. and the rear bumper will also be cut and re welded shorter. my boss did this to one of his drag cars and got 1 mph faster in the 1/4 and it looks a hell of a lot better
