1974 Pontiac Grand Prix

I picked up this 1974 Grand Prix with 63,000 miles. It will need a little TLC but is a running and driving car! I have had to make some adult decisions (that is hard to do at 64 years old) but I have to let some things go and concentrate on others. I had a heart attack 3 years ago (direct result of the COVID jab) and did a complete tear of my rotator cuff a year and a half ago. Just not as strong as I used to be, had to take when you are an old farm boy! Unfortunately, that means I will be putting my 1975 Laguna up for sale (I have already sold one of my 1978 trucks). On the bright side, my wife really likes the new Grand Prix, my son (the Hagerty Value Guide guy) says I got a really good deal (I looked at this one and bought it without him) and both are really excited about getting it ready for next summer!

Like I said, I sold my 1978 GMC K2500 as a roller, I actually got more for it as a roller than what I paid for it running, and the guy was really excited to get it - much better condition that the 1976 he was working on that spent its entire life in Michigan. I also am trading my 1979 GMC C3500 Dooley Camper Special to the guy that does my body work - he really wants the truck and I really want some body work done so we worked out a deal. I did pick up a 1988 K5 Blazer from the Pacific Northwest which is replacing the 1978 roller - I want a classic 4WD for my place in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the Blazer is the perfect one to have there. I am also keeping my wife's 1978 Chevy C20 Camper Special, she told me to buy it years ago and then claimed it from me.

Bottom line is I will have a K5 Blazer for my home up north, a C20 for local use and a Grand Prix as a cruiser!
