Looking for mirror glass for sport mirror.
I have ordered this mirror from three different company's and each time it doesn`t fit.

Anyone have a good used mirror for sale ? I have checked with several local glass company's to cut one but no one wants to mass with it.

The problem you are running into is that there are several variations of GM sport mirrors. Aftermarket companies think one size fits all. You may have to find a nice mirror assembly '73-'77 and swap housings. It can be done by patiently disconnecting the wire leads at the control knob and pulling them out thru the base (I've done it on a RH remote mirror) and reconnecting them. Or, paint the replacement housing to match the original.

Thank you Mcarlo77 you are so right about the aftermarket companys. This is not the first part I`v had a problem finding. I have been looking on ebay and market place at mirror assemblys for some time now. Most of the ones I find need the mirror glass replaced or just to rough for my liking. I have found a mirror glass on ebay I may try. Just going on the dementions listed it should fit.

Ordered Monday11:26 am Received Tuesday 1:14 pm. Bubble wrapped double boxed, and it fits perfect .

Glad you located a good one. Parts for our cars are gradually being produced, companies are starting to realize there is a fan base and appreciation for the 73-77 A body GM cars, If i were the ONLY person in the world that liked these cars.....well, its OK with me. Loved my first 1973 Chevelle SS when i saw my first, and love them today. My 73 SS 454 4 speed matching numbers car is my favorite. Yeah, it isn't a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6, but unique in its on way....pk wont rant anymore. Have a good Wednesday driving a G3, thanks to all of you who do have One, or two, or three.......

I hope companys continue to increase the products for the 73-77 A body cars.
I love my 76 Laguna, First new car I ever bought. Drove it on my honeymoon.
I sold a 1969 SS396 4sp w/ac to buy my Laguna s3. In 1975 they weren`t worth a fortune .

Unfortunately, I don't think there are enough of the '73-'77 "A" bodies left to attract the attention of companies. The few parts that are currently available are either generic to other vehicles or are easily made without expensive investment in tooling/fabrication.
BTW...always loved the styling on the front-ends of the '69 Chevelles.
