I've always thought the same. Wonder if Ford's design came before the Laguna? I think that design for both came out in 74.

Mustang 2 came out model year 1974 although of course that means Fall 73. Not sure when the 73 Laguna came out, although it seems to be Sept. 21, 1972. I think it falls under "great minds think alike". FWIW I prefer the Laguna design as it seems better proportioned.
