All it is holding up is the wiring harness from the heater/ac control to the cigarette lighter - glove box light and light at the bottom of the dash. I just routed it so it can`t fall out.

Man o man looks great Jerry and as far as the Clock Ebay has a battery operated version looks identical till u could get the original one fixed and they offer a remote Battery location so you don't have to take apart dash to replace battery when needed just an Option til fixed the original

Did you have to make any repairs to the dash pad before you painted it? If so, what did you use to repair any cracks?

Keith , the dash was in great shape I just had to dye it.

g3chevy, met a guy at a car show . He came over and help me ( I helped him) get in installed . Yes we used a heat gun and I would have never got it to look that good without him. He has a 76 Monte Carlo.

I am definitely a novice...but I did install my own headliner.
I have roughly 8+ hours in the install....done years ago.

The car looks amazing and the stripes look spot on! But I think a white vinyl top would put it over the top!

Thank you 77camino. No, the original blue  was a little darker ( see my avatar ) . It is now Daytona blue metallic. The stripes makes it look like a total different car.
