1973 Chevelle SS
Hi all, In 1973, went to a car dealership to buy a new Camaro; salesman told me that the Camaro division of GM was on strike, consequently there were no Camaros available. bummer! So the salesman says, "I have some Chevelles out back", take a look". So, I go out back and there are 7 Chevelle SS setting there in various colors and configurations. Finally, picked one out and bought it; a 1973 Chevelle SS 454, 4-speed, copper metallic with black vinyl roof, black interior. What a thrill driving that car off the lot, and hitting the highway for home. Loved that car for about a year, until the gas crunch of '74 started. Ended up selling the car to a Boston college student who shipped it to his home in Peru, South America. Now, fast forward 30 years. Around 2000, started looking for another '73 Chevelle and found one on Ebay in 2004. Bid on it and bought it, a 1973 Chevelle SS 454, automatic, A/C, red metallic, black interior, and no rust. That is now my ride, and show car. Don

Howdy!
So of all those SS's they had sitting there on the lot, I'm guessing they were all coupes?
