Window guides
I was removing old window tint today and realized just how much movement there was on my drivers door window. I took off the door panel and found that there is no padding on the three guides. In the bottom of the door I found two Velcro like pieces that I’m assuming originally should have been on the guides. I can put them on, but they will not stay on while operating the window. Question is, do I have the correct pieces and does anyone know if replacement are available.

Joe, I did not find them for a g3. Do you possibly have any other info on them?

Re: Window guides
Good morning. I searched the net this morning and could not find them either. I went into my stash and still have them in their packaging. Here's a pic of the felts and the receipt of who I purchased them from. I got them through ebay from this guy. They look the same as the ones inline tube sells for the 68-72 chevelle. https://www.inlinetube.com/products/inl15048

Re: Window guides
Thanks Joe. I will search that seller and look into the G body sites to see if they have them.

Re: Window guides
Thanks g3chevy. The new ones say they are adhesive backed. Were the originals glued on? Mine don’t show any signs of glue, they look more like there was a plastic clip at one time on the inside of the pad.

Re: Window guides
The ones I redid on my 76 El Camino looked like they were originally glued with something similar to headliner glue. So that's what I used to restore mine and they worked fine. Hope this helps.

My 75's are glued on. Well, now they are re-glued on.
