I'm looking to get the Summit Racing 2.5" dual system on my '76 Sprint, but need the 73-74 GM tail pipe hangers to properly mount. Try Napa as they sell Walker exhaust or check walker exhaust online to see what they still sell for our cars. They used to have almost everything needed for replacement exhaust. And buy it from a factory Napa store so some local franchisee doesn't rip you off.

Walker offers very little in this area....did a thorough search in their catalog, as well as Nickson and Viking. I have the GM parts book and ran numbers on ebay with limited results. Pretty much pursuing used at this point.

I looked high and low for new for my 75 about 3 years ago, never found them. Exhaust guy just ended up welding them in rigid and I don't like it. Another on the list of things to improve.

Saw the Walker 35210, but not sure how it installs.....doesn't look much like the OE hanger.

In the past, I have looked at F-body parts interchangeability or for something like this part and no one would really know.

What are the part numbers you are looking for?

For the record, the 35525 and 35661 combo were used for support where the muffler & tailpipe connect.  I do know some have used the 35210 at the end of the tailpipe...but, it doesn't look like what is shown in your '73 manual.

Things have changed big time in just the past few years regarding availability of exhaust parts for the DIY-er. Just can't run into your local auto parts stores anymore and expect to find much of anything. I've been trying to run down an original Walker 46478 LH tailpipe for a couple years now. Could have readily bought one about 4 yrs ago when I first started looking at changing my '75 over to dual exhaust. Now, they are extinct.

What I ended up doing for the muffler hangers was buying (x2) the Walker 75-77 single muffler parts (#35662, 35181, and 35182). The holes drilled on the 35181 bracket have to be welded up and drilled closer together; I also needed to shave down the 35662 bracket to fit into the 35182 isolators. This is what's available, so making it work as cleanly as possible...at least they accept 2.5" clamps w/out mods. As for the tail pipe hangers, I did some more digging on Google and found a pic of a guy who installed a system using the same aftermarket hangers that come with the Summit kit and appear to bolt into the same stock locations. Thanks to those who replied here....would have written this earlier had I received notification by email from the forum like I had been....
