73 SS - Arizona
If I'm not mistaken, this is the same one that this guy said he was parting not too long ago. Could be wrong...........memory is so bad I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

Re: 73 SS - Arizona
Yep...he was trying to sell the car complete last Fall/early winter for something like $6500. Then, decided he'd strip the interior and sell those parts and do a tribute restoration of some sort. Guess that idea fell thru...
Here's an e-Bay listing showing most of the interior parts he was trying to sell. Was asking ridiculously high prices from what I recall. Can't believe someone actually paid $450 for door panels that have speaker holes cut in them.

Re: 73 SS - Arizona
Not definitive from the ad- does it have the original 454? says it's an original car but doesn't explicitly talk about the numbers matching block. That's always good to know for sure.

I don't recall the particulars on the drivetrain situation.

It's back...less the desirable interior parts that he stripped and presumably sold in his quest to maximize his return on investment. So much for keeping it all original....

Re: 73 SS - Arizona
If I want your wheels and tires your going to charge me $1,000? There is no lock cylinder in the trunk lid plus it looks like someone tried to pry the lid open and damaged the rear panel below the trunk lid. Interior is in boxes..... how much of it is left? There is no title and the car hasn't run since he's owned it. Great deal.

Re: 73 SS - Arizona
Not to mention the header panel is dented and the hood just doesn't look like it sits down correctly at the front. And for me, the lack of title would most certainly cause some real headaches here in MN.
I know it's his car to do with as he pleases, but this kind of gamesmanship trying to sell the whole car...then, stripping the interior to sell just the parts...then, whole car again less many of the desirable and hard to find interior parts that he sold off seems kind of sacrilegious for a unique car like this.
