It's definitely a ride. I still shift the t-400 myself going down the track. So ride out the wheelstand and shift second as it touches down and then the car settles and I can pull high gear. To give you an idea of the acceleration, it goes 0-121 in 5.63 seconds. That's at the 1/8 mile.
