Let know what you decide to do Mike. I thought that was a pretty good time

Re: KC car shows?
I’m good with the Piper show. It is on the same day as the one at the speedway. Considering on how close they are, I wonder if the PIper show will be smaller this year.

Re: KC car shows?
I thought about the speedway show. I believe that show is later in the day 5-9 so it migjt not affect the piper show. A guy could do both if he wanted too.

Yes, the speedway show on Sept 29 is 4-9pm. Preregistration is on line for $10 vs $20 at gate.

I won’t make it either. Already have other plans. I’m still planning on going to the Piper show.

Piper still works for me as well. Is anyone thinking about the KCI Cruise next weekend?

Re: KC car shows?
It's usually a really good show, lots of different cars & no cost. This year, Velocity is coming to film Super Chevy Show, I heard. I can't make it this year due to work duties, but I'd recommend the show if you can make it.

Re: KC car shows?
It was ok. Was it worth $40, not really. Would I do it again, don't think so. They pre-staged you outside the track and brought you in in groups.Everything we had read said the awards are at 3:15 and move out at 3:30. There was no communication at all during the show. Someone around us said they were told that they couldn't use the PA system due to "track rules". No one knew when they started the awards, next think we knew one of the show workers told us it was ok the leave. WTF?

My brother in law and I have been talking about going. Think it could be a go. Anyone else interested in going?

Re: KC car shows?
Just got back from the KCI cruise and all I can say is wow!! The biggest automotive event I have ever been too. There was well over 1000 cars and tons of people. You guys have to mark this down and attend this one next year.

Re: KC car shows?
I did walk the show also and WOW pretty much describes it. I agree it was the largest show outside of maybe Good Guys that I have ever seen. Did see your Monte, but everyone was starting to leave around 7:00, so I didn’t stick around your car long because I wanted to get through the rest of the show. Glad you had a good time.

Re: KC car shows?
I’m considering the Basehor show on Saturday. Just have to wait and see what the weather is going to be like.

Re: KC car shows?
I’m going ahead and pulling the plug on the Basehor show based on the weather. I think they used to have a rain date but have not been able to find out when it is. It will probably be Sunday but that looks stormy also.

Re: KC car shows?
If anyone was considering the Turner show tomorrow, it has been postponed until next Saturday. Someone new is running it so hopefully it will go back to the show that it used to be.

I was until the rain. Next week? They are going up against the NASCAR race?

Re: KC car shows?
They said that the nascar issue came up and they decided that Saturday would be better than Sunday.

Re: KC car shows?
I am strongly considering it. The lady running the rest of Turner Days made it sound like it is going to to a lot better than last year. Not sure if I’m taking the El Camino or the Monte.
