1st time posting on here...will a '74 front bumper fit on a '73 with little or no problem? I'm assuming it would, but you never know

With mods it will you have to adapt the 73 only Shocks to the 74 and up bumpers

It seems like the 73 has a longer wrap-around side vs. the 74. I think the 73 jutted out further than the 74. Just something to keep in mind as well. Which year corner fillers were you planning on using?

Anything is possible with enough thought and beer. lol
As Limey stated, the 73 bumper shocks are a one year only thing so you'd have to do some adapting to make them fit. I agree with clanceman427 about the bumper over hang. I think the fillers on the 73 are bigger than the 74.

Check out this one for a sweet bumper mod and tuck. Very Happy

Would be easier to find 74-77 front bumper shocks than modding 73 only shocks. Difference being that 74-77 have a flat plate on front and the bumper has studs sticking out the back of it. So you put it in place and put nuts on the backside.
73 only mounts with bolts from the sides. Definitely more of a pain to work with.
