Are you referring to the vertical bar plastic '77 grille, like this one ?

It's sure a lot lighter that the cast one in my '74 Malibu

My '75 Elco has this '77 front....it's what I had !!

He's referring to the "chicken wire mesh" malibu classic style that was used in 1976.  Yours would be the waterfall '77 style.

It's sure a lot lighter that the cast one in my '74 Malibu
